Owner + CF-L2 Head Coach
Important stuff: Kiki discovered Crossfit in 2012 and immediately fell in love with it. Started coaching a year after and is now the head coach and Owner at Crossfit Belleville where she coaches classes, specializes in Personal Training and On Ramp/Fundamental sessions and Specialty Clinics.
Stuff You Might Not Know: Kiki grew up in Greece, where she played professional Volleyball. She moved to Toronto when she was 20 years old to follow her dreams. She is a mom of 2 super cool kids, Niko and Olga.
Spartans Kids Coach
Important stuff: Leah Started CrossFit in January of 2014 and began coaching the kids program in 2017. She has been teaching elementary school for 13 years and is currently teaching grade 6 at Park Dale School in Belleville.
Stuff You Might Not Know: As a child, Leah competed in artistic gymnastics and coached competitive and recreational gymnasts for 15 years. She is a Mom of 2 amazing kids and wife to fellow public school teacher, Steve. She has a love for anything Disney and is a “Potterhead” ( a diehard Harry Pottery Fan).
Important stuff: In 2017 Jeff began looking for a family oriented Crossfit gym primarily for his children to experience but after seeing the challenging workouts and welcoming community he joined Crossfit Belleville. Jeff completed his CF-OL1 coaches course in 2021.
Stuff you might not know: Jeff grew up in a sports oriented family and still enjoys a variety of sports and outdoor activities. Jeff has completed 2 outdoor adventure races (30hr and 8hr races), 2 full marathons and plenty of half marathons. Jeff has a son who is off to University and a daughter in high school.
Important stuff: Sarah joined the CFB family back in 2018 and got her level 1 CrossFit Training course just over a year later. She coaches classes including the Engine Building workouts for Open Prep, on-ramps for new members and the 6-Week Healthy You Challenge. Stuff You Might Not Know: Sarah is a former competitive swimmer and coach, and has her Level 1 swim coach certification. She even coached a group of 10 and under swimmers to a provincial record. Sarah is also our local photographer, and can often be found behind the camera taking pictures during WODs and special events. Sarah has two amazing kids who are members of the Little Spartans kids CrossFit club.
Important stuff: Jess joined the CFB family in 2017. Jess has always been a part of many sports teams including the Trent University rugby team. Jess was looking for a new fitness journey after school and once she started, she immediately loved the CrossFit Belleville culture and workout programming. In 2021, Jess joined the team and can be found coaching the 6:00 AM crew, our On Ramp program and personal training.
Stuff you might not know: Jess is a registered nurse with a background in ICU and community care nursing. In her spare time, she loves to be with family and friends. Jess loves to be active both inside and outside the gym where she can be found often hiking with her husband and pup (Katie). Jess also has a bad case of the travel bug - so be sure to recommend your favourite travel destinations when you see her!
Important stuff: Ali started working in the fitness industry in 2016 after graduating from Brock University with a degree in education and physical education. Five years ago, she started CrossFit and became a coach shortly after. Ali now works as a high school teacher teaching physical education and science.
Stuff You Might Not Know: Growing up, Ali was a competitive gymnast. She started coaching gymnastics at age 14 and she found a passion for coaching. Ali has also coached powerlifting for the Special Olympics, basketball and ultimate frisbee.
Important stuff: Kate joined CrossFit Belleville in January 2018 and quickly fell in love, not just with CrossFit but with the community that came along with it. Kate started her unofficial coaching job during the pandemic when she forced her husband, now a member and former Athlete of the Year, to join the Zoom WODs. Kate completed their CF-Level 1 trainer course in January 2023.
Stuff You Might Not Know:
Kate grew up in the competitive dance world which led to her later coaching dance and gymnastics. Kate is an outreach and programming librarian with Lennox and Adding Libraries but is definitely not your stereotypical librarian. She loves building Lego, is obsessed with RuPaul's Drag Race, and has a very spoiled Miniature Schnauzer, Heidi.
