Our Nutrition Coaching Program at CrossFit Belleville is very unique and is designed to provide individuals with an easy, science-based approach to nutrition and wellness, using simple behavior modification strategies to create positive change without the stress of “dieting.” Imagine the confidence you could have walking into the grocery store or a restaurant knowing exactly what you should eat to not only feel great but look great too! The internet is filled with diet plans, recipe plans, and other information. There are a lot of programs out there telling you what NOT to eat or how to replace meals with supplements or a shake but what if we could attain this confidence through learning what TO eat and using whole foods with limited ingredients? Behold, a teaching program to build life-long skills one step at a time!

 

Meet Coach Lorraine

Following years of struggling with my own health, weight and body image, I am passionate about helping others free themselves from food anxiety and take charge of their health and wellness. After receiving my Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition (BScAHN) in dietetics, I was eager to work in a clinical setting and apply my university degree to healing the sick. It was during my time working in the hospital setting that I saw the profound impact of diet, exercise and lifestyle on health and became disillusioned with the reactive medical model which focuses on treatment over prevention.

Fast forward to three children and many military moves later and I found myself at my heaviest weight, lacking in energy and pre-diabetic. Tired of yo-yo dieting and unsustainable health practices, I decided to take charge of my own health by taking the knowledge I had and putting it to practice in sustainable ways that worked for my life and family. After losing over 80 pounds and discovering a love for fitness (specifically, Crossfit), it has become my purpose and pleasure to help others on their journey to “food freedom”: discovering practical and sustainable habits to help them achieve their goals in a way that works for them. I want to empower YOU to take charge of your health and wellness and finally free yourself from short term results, restrictive “food rules” and unsustainable practices.

Working 1-on-1 with Lorraine means that you will have somebody who understands your goals, and the obstacles that you need to overcome to start eating better. When your coach knows you, they know how to help you.

At CrossFit Belleville, we offer a variety of different packages to meet our client’s needs. Please note that we do offer a 8 week commitment program, however, we do recommend a 12 week commitment for sustainable results. We work with not only our members but non members as well by providing nutrition coaching, customized plans to help them achieve their goals.

 

On Ramp Nutrition – Designed to complement the On-Ramp introduction to CrossFit, the On-Ramp nutrition program will provide you with the knowledge and tools for a habit-based approach to fueling for performance and maximizing results from your training; whether that be muscle growth, fat loss, athletic performance, general health and wellness, or a bit of all of the above. Our individualized 1:1 Nutrition Coaching – this is centred on the development of a customized action plan tailored to the individual, their goals and their lifestyle with a focus on sustainable results. See below for 8 and 12 week offers and inclusions.

On-Going Accountability/Macro Coaching – this is an add on following any of our Nutrition programs. See below for offers and inclusions.
