Our Nutrition Coaching Program at CrossFit Belleville is very unique and is designed to provide individuals with an easy, science-based approach to nutrition and wellness, using simple behavior modification strategies to create positive change without the stress of “dieting.” Imagine the confidence you could have walked into the grocery store or a restaurant knowing exactly what you should eat to not only feel great but look great too! The internet is filled with diet plans, recipe plans, and other information. There are a lot of programs out there telling you what NOT to eat or how to replace meals with supplements or a shake but what if we could attain this confidence through learning what TO eat and using whole foods with limited ingredients? Behold, a teaching program to build life-long skills one step at a time!
Meet Coach Lorraine
Following years of struggling with my own health, weight and body image, I am passionate about helping others free themselves from food anxiety and take charge of their health and wellness. After receiving my Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition (BScAHN) in dietetics, I was eager to work in a clinical setting and apply my university degree to healing the sick. It was during my time working in the hospital setting that I saw the profound impact of diet, exercise and lifestyle on health and became disillusioned with the reactive medical model which focuses on treatment over prevention.
Fast forward to three children and many military moves later and I found myself at my heaviest weight, lacking in energy and pre-diabetic. Tired of yo-yo dieting and unsustainable health practices, I decided to take charge of my own health by taking the knowledge I had and putting it to practice in sustainable ways that worked for my life and family. After losing over 80 pounds and discovering a love for fitness (specifically Crossfit), it has become my purpose and pleasure to help others on their journey to “food freedom”: discovering practical and sustainable habits to help them achieve their goals in a way that works for them. I want to empower YOU to take charge of your health and wellness and finally free yourself from short term results, restrictive “food rules” and unsustainable practices

One on One
Working 1-on-1 with Lorraine means that you will have somebody who understands your goals, and the obstacles that you need to overcome to start eating better. When your coach knows you, they know how to help you.
Includes solid accountability and a support system to help you stay on track. Let’s face it – it can be hard but you don’t have to do it alone, and you shouldn’t!
