Skill Intro- Sumo Deadlifts
* with PVC model proper footing and movement pathways for the sumo deadlift.
* allow for time to practice proper movement patterns for the lift (3-5 min)
– choose one athlete to be it. The other athletes line up along the end of the gym.
– athlete who is it calls “Octopus”, the other athletes run to the other side without getting touched.
– if they get touched they have a seat and become sea weed, they are allowed to try and tag others while remaining seated.
– switch “it” and play again
– Grab a rope and lets give it a try, how many can you do unbroken?
